Neat Trading post in the middle of nowhere.Always stop here when I drive the "Snake"
Very popular stopping place for bikers riding "The Snake" (Hwy 421). They boast 489 curves within 5 miles (or something like that) and I've ridden almost all of them. They have gas there (leaded and unleaded venom). The cafe there is certainly good enough and they have amazing values on riding gear and accessories.
Very good location in the Foothills of the valley. Don't expect much from inside the store. They had no ice cream, very few candy bars, bottle drink was slim picking. No fuel. Under new owers. They should have taken note from the previous owner. They been out of everything since June and here it is August.
Never have 93 Oct gas. Limited murchindise. Very disapointed. Used to be nice. I would not waste my time. The owners are very nice and work hard. I would gladly bye my gas from them if they had it. Milk and other things when needed. I hate to drive miles away just for small basics. This place has nothing.
My friends and I use this place to meet and we meet all kinds of people here from all around the US also. This store sits at a crossroad in the middle of Shady Valley, Tn. In which you have your choice of four local towns you can travel to from this particular point. Elizabethton Tn, Damascus Va, Mountain city Tn and Bristol Tn/Va. It's mostly enjoyed by us local bikers.
